Liechtenstein took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in the US metropolis of Atlanta with two women and in two competitions in two sports.

Since 1936 , it was Liechtenstein's twelfth participation in the Summer Olympic Games .

Flag bearer

Judoka Biggi Blum carried the flag of Liechtenstein during the opening ceremony on July 19 at the Centennial Olympic Stadium .
