Liechtenstein took part in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, with only seven athletes (six men and one woman).
For the first time since 1972, Liechtenstein did not win a medal at the Winter Olympics .
Flag bearer
The alpine skier Birgit Heeb , who later took part in three other Olympic Winter Games , wore the flag of Liechtenstein during the opening ceremony in Parc Olympique.
