The US Virgin Islands participated in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, with twelve athletes, ten men and two women, in three sports.
It was the Caribbean country's second participation in the Winter Games and the one with the largest team to date.
The flag bearer was the toboggan runner Anne Abernathy . Unsurprisingly, the US Virgin Islands went without a medal.

The American Virgin Islands brought two teams to the start in both competitions. In the two-man bobsleigh, both bobsleigh bobsled from Puerto Rico's second bob . Only Bob ISV II finished the four-man bobsleigh competition in last place, over four seconds behind the penultimate from Mexico .

At almost 39 years of age, Anne Abernathy was the oldest participant (men and women) in the toboggan competitions; she came second to last. Her teammate Kyle Heikkila finished 29th out of 34 participants.
