Mexico took part in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France with 20 athletes, 16 men and 4 women, in four sports.

This was the largest Mexican team at the Winter Games to date. The flag bearer was the cross-country skier Roberto Alvárez . Mexico remained without a medal, the best placement was achieved by the Mexican four-man bobsleigh with 28th place out of 31 teams.
