Liechtenstein took part in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada, with eleven male and two female athletes.

Flag bearer

The alpine skier Andreas Wenzel , who had already won a medal in the giant slalom at the 1980 and 1984 Winter Olympics , wore the flag of Liechtenstein during the opening ceremony in the McMahon Stadium .

Medals

The only medal won by Paul Frommelt , for whom it was already the fourth participation in the Olympics.
