The Comoros took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in the US metropolis Atlanta with four athletes, one woman and three men, in four competitions in one sport.

It was the Comoros' first participation in the Summer Olympics .

Flag bearer

Athlete Faissoil Ben Daoud carried the Comoros flag during the opening ceremony on July 19 at the Centennial Olympic Stadium .
