The Ivory Coast took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in the US metropolis of Atlanta with eleven athletes, one woman and ten men, in eight competitions in four sports.

Since 1964 it was the fourth participation of the Ivory Coast in the Summer Olympics .

Flag bearer

The athlete Jean-Olivier Zirignon carried the flag of Ivory Coast during the opening ceremony on July 19 at the Centennial Olympic Stadium .
