Guam took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta for the third time in the Summer Olympics. The team consisted of eight athletes, six of whom were men and two women. They started in nine competitions in four sports. The youngest participant was the swimmer Darrick Bollinger at 17 years and 349 days, the oldest was the sailor Cathleen Moore-Linn at 35 years and 15 days. During the opening ceremony on July 19, 1996, the swimmer Patrick Sagisi carried the Guam flag into the Olympic Stadium.
