With the III. At the 1932 Olympic Games in Lake Placid , a curling competition was held. This had the status of a demonstration competition , which is why certificates and plaques but no Olympic medals were awarded. The venue was the Olympic Indoor Arena .

Unlike the 1924 Winter Olympics , only teams from the USA and Canada were represented. Each team had to play four games. The Canadian teams only played against the American ones and vice versa. A clash between two teams from the same country was therefore impossible.
