The silver and bronze medals were awarded at the discretion of the team that played best against the Olympic champion. That is why Aspasia Matsa and Xenophon Kasdaglis , who lost out in the final, were only honored with bronze and Sophia Marinou with Georgios Simiriotou received silver.
