The Olympus E-510 is a digital SLR camera and the successor to the popular Olympus E-500 . It is based on the Four Thirds Standard and was launched in June 2007.

The E-510 is aimed at beginners with high demands. Features to be emphasized are:

  • 2.5-inch monitor (230,000 pixels)
  • Live view (subject and image control on the monitor)
  • Supersonic wave filter (for shaking off dirt particles on the sensor)
  • Built-in image stabilizer
