The Olympus E-410 is a digital SLR camera in the lower price segment, which was introduced in March 2007 and has been shipping since June 2007.
It is the sister model of the Olympus E-510 and the successor to the Olympus E-400 and is based on the Four Thirds standard . The main difference to the E-510 is the lack of the image stabilizer and the handle. In addition, many functions can only be accessed via the menu and not directly via buttons, as is the case with the E-510.
The E-410 is aimed at beginners with high demands. Visually, it is based very much on the OM series from Olympus. Its main features are a 2.5-inch monitor with 230,000 pixels, live view (constant motif and image control on the monitor), supersonic wave filter (for shaking off dirt particles on the sensor) and the rather small size paired with a low weight of only 375 g (body only).
The camera is offered in three different kits, including lens (s).
