Angry with envy, Langda invents an affair between Omkara's fiancé Dolly and Kesu. On their wedding night, Omkara is finally convinced of his bride's infidelity and kills her. Langda also receives permission to shoot Kesu. However, he only hurts his arm. With the help of Langda's wife Indu, Omkara finally finds out that his bride Dolly was loyal to him after all. Together they realize that the Langda affair was only staged. While Indu Langda slits open his neck in retaliation, Omkara kills himself.

Reviews

"The power of distrust, staged spectacularly - with Omkara, Indian director Vishal Bhardwaj has succeeded in making a grandiose Othello adaptation - with stars like Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor."
