The Ordinariate Eastern Europe ( Latin Ordinariatus Europae orientalis ) is one in Eastern Europe located Ordinariate of the Armenian Catholic Church , headquartered in Gyumri in Armenia .

history

It was erected on July 13, 1991 for the believers of the Armenian Rite in the states of Eastern Europe .

The ordinariate is regarded as an immediate diocese and is therefore directly subordinate to the Pope and therefore does not belong to any church province .
