Original Me is the fourth studio album from the German dance project Cascada .

publication

Original Me was released on June 17, 2011 as CD and download . There is also a special edition with a second CD that consists of all the internationally released songs. It's called Greatest Hits . The album was produced by Manian and Yanou and released through their own label, Zooland Records .

Contributors and composition

Natalie Horler herself says that this album has more strong pop music influences than the previous albums. All songs were written by Yanou and Manian alias Yann Pfeifer and Manuel Reuter. However, there were several other songwriters who contributed. The songs were sung by Natalie Horler. Tony T. , the singer of RIO , Yanou and Manian's second project, was brought in at Night Nurse , and the German rapper Carlprit was brought in for Evacuate the Dancefloor , Unspoken and Independence Day .

My Fanbase critics rated the album 7 out of 9, saying:

In the end the album title fits, because in addition to the usual dance tracks there are also some ballads to be heard that bring out Natalie's beautiful voice and of which there could be more. Thus the album is a successful mixture of fast and calm songs, in which only the rap parts of Carlprit disturb.
