Music productions by Ornament Records

Ornament Records is dedicated to the publication of high quality recordings of organ literature and church music . The production includes numerous CD and, since 2009, DVD recordings made by the organist and church music director Ernst-Erich Stender on the organs of St. Mary's Church in Lübeck (large organ with 101 stops on five manuals and pedal and "Totentanzorgel" with 56 stops on four manuals and pedal), including the complete recording of the organ work by the composer and Marian organist Dietrich Buxtehude . It is the only complete recording from "his" Marienkirche in Lübeck to date.

Recordings of particular importance are also the world premiere recordings of several symphonies on the organ ( Ludwig van Beethoven , Anton Bruckner , Franz Schubert , Johannes Brahms , Antonín Dvořák ).

Famous works by Bach and Reger through to rarely played organ transcriptions ( Wagner , Mussorgsky , Grieg , Rachmaninoff ) can be found in the discography .

The productions of Ornament Records have received international recognition in the specialist press for many years.

In November 2010 the recording of the entire organ works by Johann Sebastian Bach will be prepared.
