Place directory (Austria)

The index of places is the official, statistical overview of the settlement of Austria published by Statistics Austria .

It was last compiled in full after the 2001 census and then published. No complete work was published after the first electronic register count in 2011 .

Scope of the work

The work gives for the administrative units ( districts / statutory cities , municipalities , cadastral communities ) as well as for localities and census districts the number of:

The parts of the village that were in use until 1991 are only listed, but no more data are given.

In addition to the tabular material, the work includes numerous illustrations , diagrams and maps and has also been published on CD-ROM .
