Oscar Sales Bingisser

Oscar Sales Bingisser (* 1958 in Einsiedeln ) is a Swiss actor , director and author . He is also a co-founder of the theater production association pocketsized.ch.

Life

Bingisser attended the collegiate school of Einsiedeln Abbey from 1973 to 1979 and graduated with the Matura Type A in 1979. He then worked in the department of the Zurich Acting Academy until 1982 . From 2000 to 2002 he took part in the postgraduate course Executive Master of Advanced Studies Cultural Management at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur .

From 1982 to 1985 he was a member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and worked under the direction of Gerd Heinz , Werner Düggelin , Jürgen Flimm , Arie Zinger , J. Jarocki and Urs Schaub , among others . He was also assistant director at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and production assistant at Radio DRS . From 1986 to 1988 he was an actor at the theater for the Canton of Zurich. He has been a freelance actor since 1989, mainly at the Theater an der Winkelwiese , the Theater am Hechtplatz , the Theaterhaus Gessnerallee , Theater Tuchlaube , Theater Heddy Maria Wettstein , Stadttheater Luzern , See-Burgtheater Kreuzlingen , Schwäbisch Hall and others. In 2015 he founded the association pocketsized.ch , which serves as a platform for various cultural events.

Bingisser offers courses on various topics such as theater, language, dramaturgy at various institutions, schools and companies and is also a lecturer at the SAMTS in Adliswil . In 2012 he received the recognition award of the Canton of Schwyz .

Bingisser is married.
