Oscar Toepffer
Oscar Toepffer (born November 4, 1896 , † February 7, 1975 ) was a German lawyer .
Life
During the time of National Socialism , since 1938, Toepffer headed the legal office and the organization department in the main administrative office of the municipal administration in Hamburg .
In the period from June 28 to November 14, 1945 he held the office of Justice Senator in the Hanseatic city as a non-party . Oscar Toepffer lost this post at the instigation of the British occupying power because of his National Socialist past.
