Oschydiw ( Ukrainian Ожидів ; Russian Ожидов Oschidow , Polish Ożydów ) is a village in the Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 2100 inhabitants (2001).

The village in the historical landscape of Galicia , first mentioned in writing in 1432, was the seat of the rural community of Ożydów in the Tarnopol Voivodeship during the Second Polish Republic .

Today, Oschydiw is the administrative center of the 70.821 km² district council of the same name in the southeast of Busk Rajon , to which the following villages also belong:

The village is 17 km east of the district center of Busk and about 70 km northeast of the oblast center of Lviv . Oschydiw has a train station on the Lviv – Sdolbuniw railway line . The M 06 / E 40 road runs in the north of the village .
