Osiris de Oliveira Correia

Osiris de Oliveira Correia (born September 21, 1917 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian diplomat .

Life

Correia completed the Cursos de Prática Diplomática Diplomado of the Rio Branco Institute in 1947 and presented the study História Diplomática do Brasil e de Italiano . From September 2, 1948 to June 25, 1951, he was employed as chargé d'affaires in San José , Costa Rica , and from 1950 to 1954 also took over the position of Vice Consul in Miami .

This was followed in 1956 by a transfer, initially until 1959, to the consulate in New Orleans , where he was also active as chargé d'affaires from 1957 to 1958. Correia was transferred to Damascus in 1962 and to Asunción in 1966 in the same function . In 1971 he had an exequatur as consul general in Le Havre and was finally appointed ambassador to Santo Domingo from 1974 to 1976 .
