Otacílio Ferreira de Lacerda
Otacilio Francisco Ferreira de Lacerda (born November 17, 1960 in Itapiruçu , Minas Gerais , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Guanhães .
Life
Otacílio Ferreira de Lacerda received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Guarulhos on April 10, 1988 .
On December 21, 2016 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Tulana and auxiliary bishop in Belo Horizonte . The Archbishop of Belo Horizonte, Walmor Oliveira de Azevedo , gave him on 18 March of the following year, the episcopal ordination . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Guarulhos, Edmilson Amador Caetano OCist , and the Bishop Emeritus of Campo Limpo , Emílio Pignoli .
On June 19, 2019, Francis appointed him Bishop of Guanhães. The inauguration took place on September 14th of the same year.
