Edmilson Amador Caetano
Edmilson Amador Caetano OCist (born April 20, 1960 in São Paulo , Brazil ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Guarulhos .
Life
Edmilson Amador Caetano joined the Congregation of the Cistercians in, put the profession on March 25, 1982, received on 12 December 1985, the priestly ordination .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 9, 2008 Bishop of Barretos . He was ordained episcopate on March 28 of the same year by the Archbishop of Belém do Pará , Orani João Tempesta OCist; Co- consecrators were Antônio Gaspar , former bishop of Barretos, and David Dias Pimentel , bishop of São João da Boa Vista . He chose DEUS PROVIDEBIT as his motto .
On January 29, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Guarulhos .
