It ties in with the work of Rudolf Borchardt , Stefan George , Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Rainer Maria Rilke . He was close friends with Reinhold Schneider , Herbert Post , Victor Otto Stomps and Heinrich Ellermann . He published many of his works in small publishing houses that were not influenced by National Socialist ideology, such as B. a series of essays in the conservative “ Weisse Blätter ”, a “monthly for history, tradition and state”, which was published in Neustadt an der Saale from 1934 to 1943 as the successor to the publication “Monarchie.
