Otto Koch (politician)

Paul Ludwig Otto Koch (born August 31, 1866 in Siebenlehn , † November 11, 1934 in Dresden ) was a German politician and member of the Saxon state parliament ( FVp / DDP ).

Life

Koch was born the son of a pastor , attended grammar school in Chemnitz and studied theology at the University of Leipzig from 1886 to 1890 . After completing the theological and pedagogical exams, he worked as a senior teacher and professor at the Freiherrlich von Fletcher'schen teachers' seminar in Dresden-Neustadt from 1891 . In 1924 he became director of studies at the Freiherrlich von Fletcher Advanced School and German High School in Dresden-Neustadt . In 1931 he retired.

From 1909 to 1918 Koch was a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament for the constituency of the City of Dresden 6. From 1915 to 1918, Koch was secretary of the 2nd Chamber. In 1919, as a member of the DDP, he was a member of the Saxon People's Chamber and participated in the drafting of the Saxon constitution of 1920.
