Otto Lutz (politician)

Otto Lutz (born July 2, 1869 in Pölla , Lower Austria ; † October 10, 1947 in Vienna ) was an Austrian lawyer and judge who briefly worked as a politician ( Greater German People's Party ).

Life

After graduating from elementary schools in Dunkelsteinerwald and Wölbling , Otto Lutz moved to the grammar school in Krems , where he also graduated . He then studied law at the University of Vienna .

In 1894 Lutz entered the civil service and in the same year found employment at the Higher Regional Court in Vienna . Here he rose to the position of regional judge at the regional court for civil law until 1912 . He was also a judge at the arbitration tribunal for social security issues .

Lutz held his first political mandate from 1919 to 1920, when he moved into the Lower Austrian State Parliament as a member of the Lower Austrian State Parliament (see Joint State Parliament of Lower Austria ). He was also a member of the Federal Council from May 20, 1927 to August 27, 1929 ( third legislative period ).

Lutz was buried at the Gersthofer Friedhof in Vienna.
