Otto Warth

Otto Warth (* 21st November 1845 in Limbach , Pfalz, † 5. November 1918 in Karlsruhe ) was a German architect and university lecturer (professor) at the Technical University of Karlsruhe .

Life

Warth studied architecture at the Karlsruhe Polytechnic from 1863 to 1867 (since 1865: Karlsruhe Technical University). In 1867 he got a job as an assistant at the Baden military construction office and in 1869 he became an assistant at the Technical University of Karlsruhe, where he then worked as an assistant teacher from 1875 until he was appointed professor in 1878. He held this teaching post until 1911, and one of his students was the architect Hermann Billing .
