Otto von Knapp

Otto von Knapp (born December 5, 1831 at Stammheim Castle near Ludwigsburg , † May 25, 1896 in Cologne ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Knapp attended high school and the polytechnic school in Stuttgart and the academy in Geneva . He studied law in Tübingen . From 1858 he worked in the Württemberg State Railway Administration and in the general management of the transport authorities in Stuttgart.

From 1877 to 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 4 ( Böblingen , Vaihingen , Leonberg , Maulbronn ) and the German Reich Party .
