reception

Spieletipps.de sees, among other things, the game as a cheaper virtual alternative to the comparatively expensive components in the real hardware arms race, which tries to map the process as detailed as possible. However, the game also lacks long-term gaming fun, as it is presented too simply and in small parts and some functions and facts are not presented correctly. In addition, the career mode does not offer enough variety and is perceived as too easy and not challenging enough in the long run, and the free mode also quickly becomes boring due to limited possibilities. But the game also conveys how monotonous and dreary everyday computer repair work can be. Chip Online also criticizes the lack of manufacturers and functions, but praises the concept, which is an interesting simulation for technology fans.

Golem.de also says that the game uses many concepts from well-known games and tries to show in a playful and didactic way how computers are put together, but also contains a lot of product placements and advertising, which, however, should also contribute to immersion . In addition, the drag and drop control is described as innovative. A detailed error diagnosis and troubleshooting is missing from the game and instead the player gets a clear way of specifying what is not realistic. PC newbies are well introduced to the subject thanks to the easily accessible controls, the many descriptions and visualizations.

On Steam , the game was rated very positive with 91% positive user reviews.
