LEDA / PGC 2883 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Whale south of the ecliptic and is an estimated 176 million light years from the Milky Way . Together with six other galaxies, it forms the NGC 271 group ( LGG 13 ).
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 271 and NGC 279 .
