LEDA / PGC 31406 is a galaxy with an active galactic nucleus in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic , the estimated 289 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center. Presumably it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair together with IC 2590 .
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 2598 .
