LEDA / PGC 37974 is an irregular galaxy of the Hubble type IBm in the constellation Hydra south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 83 million light years from the Milky Way and, together with ten other galaxies, forms the IC 764 group ( LGG 271 ).
The galaxies NGC 4105 , NGC 4106 , IC 2996 , IC 3005 are in the same area of the sky .
