LEDA / PGC 66421 ( NGC 7038A ) is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble-type SBc in the constellation Indians in the southern sky . It is an estimated 229 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light-years across.
The galaxies NGC 7038 and NGC 7041 are in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on October 2, 1834 .
