The Pacific (project name "Josi") is a mega yacht that was built in 2010 at the Lürssen shipyard . It is around 85 meters long and 16 meters wide. The hull is made of steel , the superstructure of aluminum . In addition to several dinghies, there is also a helicopter on board.

The yacht is registered under the flag of the Cayman Islands with home port in George Town .

The design comes from German Frers , the interior from Bannenberg & Rowell.

Technical specifications

The yacht is powered by two twenty- cylinder four-stroke diesel engines from the manufacturer MTU Friedrichshafen (type: 20V4000 M93L) with an output of 4,300  kW each. The motors act on two variable pitch propellers via reduction gears . The yacht thus reaches a speed of 20  knots .

Four generators with an apparent power of 585 kVA each  and an emergency generator with an apparent power of 312 kVA are available for the power supply.
