The Paillon de Contes is a river in France that runs in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Planfaé in the Maritime Alps , near the Col Saint-Roch , in the municipality of Lucéram , generally drains in a southerly direction and after 21 kilometers flows into the Paillon as a right tributary .
