Pamela Cornell
Pamela "Pam" Cornell (born before 1959) is a former British film architect and prop master who was nominated for an Oscar for best production design.
Life
Pamela Cornell first worked as a production designer on the production of a film in 1959, in the crime film Malaga (Moment of Danger) by László Benedek with Trevor Howard , Dorothy Dandridge and Edmund Purdom, and in the romance comedy Die Millionärin (The Millionairess) by Anthony Asquith with Peter Sellers , Sophia Loren and Vittorio de Sica .
At the Academy Awards in 1971 she was nominated along with Terence Marsh and Robert Cartwright for the Oscar for best production design in Scrooge (1970) by Ronald Neame with Albert Finney , Alec Guinness and Edith Evans in the leading roles. The film was based on Charles Dickens ' A Christmas Carol .
