At river kilometer 28 the river reaches the Kamchatka region. The Paren finally flows into the west bank of the Penschinabusen in the extreme north of the Shelichov Bay . About 9 km above the estuary is the settlement of Paren ( Russian Парень ) on the left bank of the river .
