Pathumthani University FC is a Thai football club from Ayutthaya that plays in the Thai League 3 , the third highest division in Thailand. The club plays in the Lower region.

history

The association was founded in 2012 and is managed by Pathumthani University. The first season was played in 2013 in what was then the third division, Regional League Division 2 , in the Central / West region. The club played in this region until 2015. In 2016 they moved to the Central Region. After the league reform in 2017, the club was assigned to the fourth division, the Thai League 4 , in which they played in the Bangkok metropolitan region until 2019. In 2019, the club took third place, which entitles them to participate in the Thai League 4 - Champions League. The champions of the region were the B-team from Muangthong United , runner-up the B-team from Bangkok United . Since the two teams could not move up, Pathumthani took part in the play-off games for the Thai League 3 . Overall, the club took fourth place in the Thai League 4 and one rose to the Thai League 3. In T3 the club plays in the Lower region.

The club has played its home games at the Ratchakram Stadium in Ayutthaya since 2018 . The stadium has a capacity of 1000 seats.
