Patrick Mohr
Patrick Mohr (* 24. November 1980 in Mainz ) is a German fashion designer and founder of the fashion label patrick mohr .
Life
Patrick Mohr grew up as the son of a management consultant in Kolbermoor near Rosenheim , where he initially completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and trained as a retail salesman .
From the year 2000 he gained his first experience in the fashion world as a model in Milan and Paris for three years .
2003 Mohr started in the International fashion school ESMOD in Munich a fashion design studies . In 2007 he gained at the ESMOD a graduate degree and was awarded the prize for the best final collection for which he had designed in a mixture of athletes and future beings high-tech clothing.
After studying fashion design, Mohr went to Copenhagen in 2007 , where he worked for the fashion designer Henrik Vibskov.
He founded his own fashion brand in 2008 as Patrick Mohr Lifestyle GmbH based in Trier . Mohr's collections have already been shown at Fashion Week Berlin , and his fashion label patrick mohr is represented in Europe as well as in the USA and Asia.
As early as 2009, Mohr caused a stir at the Berlin Fashion Week when he sent homeless people onto the catwalk, who in the outfits created by Mohr looked more like forest people. A season later, bodybuilders were walking the catwalk, followed by looks of a Buddhist-inspired design in 2011. He is considered a provocateur when it comes to fashion styling and cuts. Furthermore, his symbol can be found in the form of a triangle on his creations.
He himself describes his fashion collections as Sophisticated Sportswear , a combination of high-quality materials, modern graphics, sophisticated cuts and streetwear elements, in which he is inspired by loneliness. The fashion he designed should be wearable and should not be based on financial resources or the glamor and sexiness customary in the industry. Mohr's collections are also considered unisexual , as they are not clearly male or female.
On January 16, 2013 presented Mohr cooperation " patrick mohr meets Reebok Classic" at Fashion Week Berlin and stood by him designed Reebok - sneakers before.
In 2015, under the title Patrick loves Spongebob by PM, he entered into a collaboration with Nickelodeon and Viacom on a Spongebob fashion collection that will go on sale in 2016.
Also in 2015 Mohr worked with the Munich streetwear brand K1X and designed a sports shoe model.
Mohr lives and works in Munich.
