Patrick Schneider (born November 30, 1992 in Ansbach ) is a German athlete .

Schneider, a trained industrial clerk , only came from football to athletics in 2014. He has started for LAC Quelle Fürth since 2015 and mainly runs the long sprint distance over 400 m .

At the German Athletics Championships in 2016 in Kassel , he took third place, at the German Championships in 2017 in Erfurt and 2018 in Nuremberg .

At the 2016 European Athletics Championships in Amsterdam and the 2018 European Championships in Berlin , he was a member of the German 4 x 400 meter relay ; In 2018 in Berlin, he also ran in the 400-meter individual race, where he was eliminated in the semifinals.
