Paul Behren
Paul Behren (born April 22, 1991 in Tübingen ) is a German actor .
Career
Behren completed an acting training from 2011 to 2015 at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. During his studies he played in several productions at the Schauspielhaus Bochum and at the Heidelberg Theater . In the 2015–16 season he was a member of the ensemble of the Münchner Volkstheater . At the Munich National Theater, he played his first leading role in 2015 that the "Raskolnikov" in a play on Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky . In 2015 he played Hagen von Tronje in Feridun Zaimoglus and Günter Senkel's play Siegfried . He also played Melek, the brother of Sultan Saladin, in Nathan the Wise . Since the 2016–17 season he has been part of the ensemble of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. In the play Der Zerbrochne Krug he played Ruprecht. In 2018, he played the main role of the monkey in the play The Hairy Monkey , staged by Frank Castorf .
Behren lives in Hamburg.
