Paul Kaye (* 1965 in Clapham , London ) is a British actor and comedian .

Career

Before beginning his stage and television career in the 1990s, Paul Kaye was active as a singer in several bands and as a stage artist. With the comical character of Dennis Pennis , a celebrity interviewer on The Sunday Show , Kaye gained greater notoriety in the UK from 1995. In Germany, Paul Kaye was best known for his recent appearances in the film Dracula Untold and the British series productions Inspector Barnaby and Ripper Street as well as for his portrayal of Thoros of Myr in the HBO series production Game of Thrones .

Kaye is married and has two children.
