Paul Mandla Khumalo

Paul Mandla Khumalo CMM (born February 5, 1947 in Mariannhill, South Africa ) is Senior Archbishop of Pretoria and Senior Bishop of the South African Military Ordinariate .

Life

Paul Mandla Khumalo joined the order of the Mariannhill Missionaries and was ordained a priest on April 28, 1973 . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Witbank on October 2, 2001 .

The Archbishop of Durban , Cardinal Wilfrid Fox Napier, OFM , consecrated him bishop on January 27 of the following year ; Co- consecrators were George Francis Daniel , Archbishop of Pretoria and Bishop of the South African Military Ordinary , and Dominic Joseph Chwane Khumalo OMI , Auxiliary Bishop in Durban .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 24, 2008 Archbishop of Pretoria and Bishop of the South African Military Ordinary. He resigned from his offices on December 15, 2009.
