Mogale Paul Nkhumishe

Mogale Paul Nkhumishe (born February 28, 1938 in Warmbaths , Transvaal , South Africa ; † June 29, 2012 ) was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Polokwane .

Life

Mogale Paul Nkhumishe was ordained a priest on June 24, 1967 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on November 5, 1981 titular bishop of Tigisi in Numidia and auxiliary bishop in the Diocese of Lydenburg-Witbank . He was ordained episcopate on February 14, 1982 by the Archbishop of Bloemfontein , Peter Fanyana John Butelezi OMI ; Co- consecrators were Anton Reiterer MCCJ , Bishop of Lydenburg-Witbank, and Fulgence Werner Le Roy OSB , Abbot of Pietersburg.

On January 9, 1984, he was appointed Bishop of Lydenburg-Witbank, and on May 31 of the same year he was appointed to the office. On February 17, 2000, he was appointed Bishop of Pietersburg by Pope John Paul II .

Pope Benedict XVI On December 9, 2011 he accepted his resignation due to health reasons.
