Jeremiah Madimetja Masela

Jeremiah Madimetja Masela (born June 28, 1958 in Bergzich ) is a South African clergyman and bishop of Polokwane .

Life

Jeremiah Madimetja Masela received on 15 December 1984, the sacrament of Holy Orders . After the resignation of Bishop Mogale Paul Nkhumishe on December 9, 2011, Masela became Apostolic Administrator of Polokwane.

On June 10, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Polokwane. The Archbishop of Johannesburg , Buti Joseph Tlhagale OMI , donated him episcopal ordination on September 7th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Pretoria , William Slattery OFM , and the Bishop of Tzaneen , João Noé Rodrigues .
