Most recently he worked on a World Atlas of Vernacular Architecture .

Conversation with the Blues was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame (Classics of Blues Literature) in 1991, as was Blues fell this morning: the meaning of the blues in 1988 and The Story of the Blues in 1987.
