Paul Streckfuß
Paul Streckfuß (born June 12, 1909 in Mannheim , † February 1, 1964 in East Berlin ) was a German actor .
Life
Paul Streckfuß played in many films and television plays in the GDR in the 50s and early 60s, primarily in episode roles. Due to his distinctive voice, he was also gladly hired as a broadcaster. Here his best-known roles were Aldinger in The 7th Cross and Anton in Indian Summer . In the mid-1950s he also played at the Berlin Theater of Friendship . Perhaps his greatest film role (Stoker Anton in Indian Summer ) fell victim to censorship in 1962, and the unfinished film is considered lost. He died in East Berlin in early 1964 at the age of 54.
