Paul Walter Hauser (born October 15, 1986 in Grand Rapids ) is an American film actor .

Life

Paul Walter Hauser was born in Grand Rapids , Michigan and grew up in Saginaw as the son of Deborah and the Lutheran pastor Paul Hauser. He attended Valley Lutheran High School in Saginaw.

His first film role was in Dustin Lance Black's drama Virginia , which the director presented at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival . After appearances in several short films, some of which he directed himself, and guest appearances in television series, he was seen in a total of 27 episodes of Kingdom in the role of Keith from 2014 . This was followed by major supporting roles in I, Tonya by Craig Gillespie , BlacKkKlansman by Spike Lee and Late Night by Nisha Ganatra .

In the case of Richard Jewell of Clint Eastwood Hauser received the title role and plays the employees of a private security company, become the target of the FBI after a suicide bomb attack during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. In Da 5 Bloods , again by Spike Lee, Hauser plays Simon, an employee of an organization for the removal of landmines. In Cruella , again by Craig Gillespie, which is due to hit theaters in 2021, he plays Horace.
