Paul Martin Laurence Weston (* 1964 ) is a British politician and leader of the Liberty GB party . He is an activist and blogger who joined the right-wing populist United Kingdom Independence Party in 2010 and was a candidate for that party for the cities of London and Westminster . In 2011 he left UKIP and founded the pro-Israel party British Freedom together with members of the English Defense League . He was a candidate for the district of South East England for the 2014 European elections . Weston is married to an immigrant from Romania . He was President of the UK International Free Press Society , founded in 2009.

Political thinking and activities

Weston believes that the neo-Marxist intellectuals Theodor Adorno , Max Horkheimer and Herbert Marcuse , together with the Hungarian communist György Lukács , invented the tactics of “ cultural Marxism ” along with “ political correctness ”. He also believes that this will lead to deindustrialization, mass immigration , a weakening of nation states and the decline of the nuclear family . He has been blogging for the counter-jihad website Gates of Vienna since 2007 .

First political activities

Weston ran for UKIP in 2010 in the 2010 British general election . With 1.8 percent of the vote, Weston came in fifth. Then he left UKIP and founded his own party. He appeared at events of the Bloc identitaire , the civil rights party for more freedom and democracy - Freedom and the Jewish Defense League . He described his party as a party of classical liberalism and the political center . In October 2012 his first party was declared dead by the electoral commission because of a legal error by his party.

Liberty GB

Weston then founded the Liberty GB party in 2013 . This party stood out because it criticized multiculturalism and was assigned to the New Right .

He quoted Winston Churchill from his book The River War , published in 1899.

“How terrible are the curses which Mohammedanism imposes on its admirers! In addition to the fanatical madness, which is as dangerous in a person as being afraid of water in a dog, there is this frightening, fatalistic indifference. The effects are evident in many countries, reckless habits, sloppy farming practices, cumbersome economic practices, and insecurity of property wherever the Prophet's successors rule or live. A degrading sensuality robs this life of its dignity and improvement, the next of its honor and holiness. The fact that according to Mohammedan law every woman must belong to a man as his absolute property, be it as a child, as a wife, or as a lover, forcibly postpones the ultimate eradication of slavery until the Islamic faith ceases to be an important power within the To be humanity. Individual Muslims may have great qualities, but the influence of religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. There is no more regressive force in the world. Far from being doomed, Mohammedanism is a militant and convertible belief. He has already scattered in Central Africa, attracting fearless warriors at every step, and if Christianity were not sheltered in the strong arms of science, science, against which it (Islam) fought in vain, the civilization of modern Europe might fall as the civilization of ancient Rome fell.
