Paul Eric Worrilow (born May 1, 1990 in Wilmington , Delaware , United States ) is an American football player in the middle linebacker position . He plays for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Paul Worrilow is the second youngest of four children. He attended high school in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware. He later went to the University of Delaware and played college football there .

NFL

Worrilow was signed to the Atlanta Falcons as an Undrafted Free Agent in 2013 . In his first year as a professional he became a regular player. He finished the season as the player with the most tackles on the team. In the following season he got his first sack . After the 2016 season he reached the Super Bowl LI with the Falcons , which they lost to the New England Patriots at 28:34 . On March 8, 2017, Worrilow signed a one-year contract with the Detroit Lions .

On April 3, 2018, Worrilow signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles . On January 30, 2019, he extended his contract with the Eagles for another year.

Worrilow is married and has one daughter.
